Hello! My name is Kari, and I am the creator, writer, and designer of EastofEmerson.com.
I am an eclectic “small-town midwesterner” who has taken advantage of the many opportunities presented to me by the wonderful people in my life.
I am a proud supporter of sunsets, 4-H, FFA, military families, personal growth, and everything beautiful or writing-related, among many other things. And by proud supporter, I suppose I mean I have been all of these in the past – er, a sun and moon tattoo setting over the back of my t-shirt counts as my being a sunset, right?
I strive to be a positive person and enjoy learning about the world. Ellen Degeneres could not have said it better: “We need more kindness, more compassion, more joy, more laughter. I definitely want to contribute to that.”
In East of Emerson, I hope to enjoy creativity, share ideas, and provide a place for my writing. My brief blogging journey so far has been exactly that, and if that is all that comes of it, I am content.
So now, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for taking the time to pop over! I’m excited to continue on this experiment/adventure I call a blog. I hope you enjoy!
